TAXONOMY

Panacra perfecta tsekoui Clark, 1926, Proc. New Engl. zool. Club 9: 51. Type locality: China: [Yunnan,] Tsekou [Yanmen, on the Lancang/Mekong river, 28°04'N 98°54'E].

Synonym. Panacra perfecta tsekoui Clark, 1926.


ADULT DESCRIPTION AND VARIATION

Forewing narrower but upperside similar to Eupanacra perfecta perfecta, ground colour lighter, postmedian lines less well marked, dark area along median part of outer margin less prominent. Forewing underside less brightly coloured than in Eupanacra perfecta perfecta, bright orange shading in apical half of wing ash-grey, basal area paler. Hindwing upperside lighter than in Eupanacra perfecta perfecta. Hindwing underside duller, orange areas of Eupanacra perfecta perfecta ash-grey. Upperside of thorax and abdomen lighter than in Eupanacra perfecta perfecta.
